Photo Meet-Up in Bandon, OR – Oct 15, 2016
I have been “missing in action” for several months now and I apologize for that! Life has been busy with many family events, a foot surgery, a trip to Newfoundland and some time taken to “regroup” mentally, physically, spiritually and photographically. My sincere thanks to all those who checked up on me during that absence.
Life is good and I’m now preparing for my next adventure: my annual trip to Bandon in October. I’m really looking forward to creating something new in this familiar place.
While in Bandon I would like to invite anyone in the area to come by for a meet-up where we could get to know each other and do some shooting together.
I will be available on Saturday 10/15/2016 at 9 am, I’ll be at the parking lot overlooking the beach where 11th Street SW runs into the ocean, right next to the Bandon Beach Motel.

Sorry to hear about that foot surgery, but it sounds like you’re quickly back in the saddle, so that’s good news.
I would be in Bandon to meet you in a heartbeat, but I have tickets to that 3 day Coachella Rock concert with the Stones, Dylan, McCartney etc (“OldChella”) during that time period.
I’m already looking forward to seeing your images, while hoping you’ll extend the same very generous offer next year, or at least your next trip to Oregon.

Much as I’d like to, its a 5 hour drive, and my schedule has a few obstacles. Glad you’re doing well.
I guess it was the time for some of us to be out-of-commission. Glad when I rose up again your blogging was back. Glad you are back and doing well. I really enjoy your images. Too bad I am not in that part of the world, I would join you in a snap.
Cool, I’m living in Portland now so I might try and head down there for the day. Hope the foot is doing better, Cole.
I hope you can tie yourself to a sea stack and get some good images despite the weather Cole!
It’s looking to be pretty windy for you tomorrow. I guess the plus side is you should have some great photo ops for pounding surf!
