August 14, 2017

I am happy to announce that I will be participating in the 2018 Moab Photo Symposium. I am one of eight photographers who will be presenting and conducting workshops.

This event will take place on May 3-6, 2018 in Moab.

If you’ve not been to Moab before, that alone should motivate you to attend. But this Symposium is about so much more than location. It’s about learning and pursuing your Vision with a group of like minded artists.

I know this event seems very far off and you might be tempted to decide later if you would like to attend, but please be aware that registration opened last Saturday and all sign-up records were broken. This is not marketing hype designed to get you to act, I just don’t want to see anyone miss their chance to attend one of my workshops because they waited to long.

My presentation and workshop will be focused on Vision, which is my favorite topic, and because as I like to say: nothing else matters.

If you’re interested in attending, please check out the details at: www.MoabPhotoSym.com

I hope you can make it!

Swimming Towards the Light, how did I get this underwater shot? Is this an underwater shot?

How the Harbinger series got started on a hot summer’s day in the middle of Nowhere, Utah.

How did I photograph the Moai of Easter Island in a photo studio?

Are those real ghosts that you photographed at Auschwitz-Birkenau?

Why do all of these Ukrainians have their eyes shut?

How did I find and photograph so many icebergs?

And many others stories about many other images.

Please come and spend an hour with me and learn about some of my favorite images.

Primordial Soup

Hello Pennsylvania! I don’t get back east very often and so I’m pleased to have been invited to speak at the Lehigh Valley Photography Club in Bethlehem, PA.

Date:          October 15th, 1015

Time:         7 pm

Topic:       “Why Black and White?”

Location:  The Banana Factory – 25 W 3rd St, Bethlehem, PA 18015

No reservations are needed an there is no cost for the program. And as always, I will be giving away three of my favorite prints

I sure hope to see some friendly faces there because some find my presentation provocative, while others find it down right heretical.

So it sure would be nice to have a few friends in the mob audience!
